![]() If you say "I call" in poker, you called. You can't trick your opponent into turning his cards over, seeing that you are crushed and then say, "No, no... I didn't mean I CALL the bet. I meant I call a friend to help me out with this difficult decision." I agree that his intent was not to call the bet, but he said the words "I call it now" and that's it. That's a verbally binding action, plain and simple. The ruling was correct. |
