10/20/04 is when I joined 2p2, according to the little thingee above the "Posts: 1" line.
I don't know the name of them. These: Last edited by Talking Poker; 04-20-07 at 12:33 AM. |

Here they are anyway, in case anyone else wants them too:
(They didn't want to upload as an attachment for some reason) My cards aren't perfect - they have these tiny little green dots in the corners. You wouldn't even notice them if you weren't looking for them though. At first, I tried cleaning that up and also the random green scribble that's lower in the image, but then stuff got screwed up and I had to start over from scratch, so I just left them as they were the second time around. I may make my own cards one of these days, but in the mean time, these do just fine. Enjoy. |

they are ugly, but these are the most functional cards I have found

I may give those a shot and just change the colors to be a little less blinding. I prefer when they have some indication of what suit they are supposed to be though.
I also like the look of the PSThemes ones, but haven't played with them yet. |

although they look bright and nasty here, I find against a black table mod they actually cause the least amount of eye strain of any cards I have used. It took me a while to get used to not knowing the suit (I guess the red ones are hearts but I don't give it any thought anymore) but I want the value of the card to be as large as possible and as easily discernable as possible (A-K) and the suit to be as obvious as possible (obnoxious color) and logically I had to conceded that these cards satisfied those criteria best. Now I hate using any other cards as I waste time figure out what I got. With these it is just so obvious to me.
