I've been playing No Limit since the middle of December, and NL200 since December 30. This is a one month graph of less than 1/3 of the total hands I've played.

It's easier and the games are softer.

Edit:

Also, let's remember this. Most of you slackjaws practice little to no game/seat selection and when you do, you only look at lobby stats like players/flop or biggest avg. pot. I, on the other hand, have the WORST players at Full Tilt NL200 sitting to my right on a nightly basis.

I used to be such a big whore of table selection, and didn't get any hands in because I would never have at least one huge megadonk at my table. Now, I'm a much better player, my winrate has improved, and put in way more hands than I did before.

In one of the Green Plastic videos, I remember him saying something to the effect of, "instead of focusing only on taking money from the horrible players, try to think about how to make money the regulars also." That rang true to me, and I have tried to find exploits in the people I play the most hands with, the regulars.

I agree. I focus my efforts on finding the horrible players, and inevitably, the regulars find him too! I keep notes on the regulars and do try exploit their tendencies as well. But I can't tell you how many times I see a table FULL of 6 regulars who I know are good players battling each other. That's pointless to me.

Honestly, I'm not trying to be the best poker player. I'm trying to make the most money. I realize there is a correlation between those two statements and I definitely improve, but for me, it's easier to beat the worst players.

When you find them... do you watch and wait (or get in line) till your seat next to them is available? Or will you sit at their table, even though they are not to your right?
