Well, here's an unexpected update to this story. It should be noted that I never wrote them back or anything. This just showed up today:

Interestingly enough, when I imported the file FT sent me, PT claimed to have imported 355 new hands! According to my numbers though (I took notes before importing), a total of 30 new hands were imported into my stats, resulting in a net $28 loss for me overall. Ohhhhhh....
Maybe the 355 is counting lots of other "incomplete" hands where I was sitting but didn't play or something like that. Who knows... Anyway, GG Full Tilt. Finally. |

So, what I'm wondering...
Is there some sort of advisor that saw what a braindead precedent this was setting for big accounts and decided to fix it? Or, does the FTP support staff read this website?

I have no idea, and was wondering the same thing. My guess is either the former, OR.... I thought it was possible that one of you guys reading this may have emailed them a complaint about how they are treating their "big" players, with a link to this thread.
Either way, I'm glad they fixed things in the end. I have to tell you though, this isn't the first time where I've gotten a boneheaded response first, only to be followed up with an apology and the correct response. In fact, I'll guess this is about the 4th time this has happened to me with Full Tilt. It's like their first line of response isn't that great, but they get the job done in the end. Sometimes it just takes a little persistence. |

is kind of funny and is somewhat relevant to the topic.
