Default Drama...

Background:

With 20 minutes to go before the tourney started, I got a PM from a brand new member. He said he was new, but he liked the look of the forum and really wanted to play in tonight's tourney. I asked him to give me his word that he would stick around and make some quality posts, and he said he would. So I let him play.

I thought about telling him he was ineligible for the bounty, but I didn't. I really, really, really didn't think he'd end up being the one to knock me out. So of course, he was.

He asked if he really won the bounty and could really collect the prize. I said yes, he did, but since he's the new guy, I think it would be really cool of him to offer it up as a prize for the tourney winner (he was chip leader at the time). He didn't seem to big on this idea - which is understandable - he did win the book fair and square.... and admittedly, I was putting him on the spot.

So, long story short. This was my screw up. That means there's another book up for grabs for the winner of this tournament.

GL everyone!

Edit: If the new guy wins the tourney, no, he does not get 2 books! Then everything just works itself out all cool like.
