If I had a nickel for every time I've read that....... OF course, I actually take people up on these little challenges. Want to know how many times I've actualyl ended up playing the moron? I think twice EVER. They always talk the talk and then back down when it comes time to put up or shut up.

Tonight, I was playing and there was a HORRIBLE player at my table. He called me on the river with Q high once, K high a couple of times... you get the idea. Anyway, he called some other dude down with 44 this one hand and made his set on the river. the other guy went off on him, so I went off on him. I don't want him scaring the fish away!

160ish hands later, it was time for me to call it a night, and moron boy was talking all sorts of shit. I made a comment or two (I was leaving, so I didn't care) and told everyone to enjoy splitting up his money. Next thing I knw, he's challenging me to heads up, blah blah blah.

I was going to go to bed, but this I can't resist. I tell him I'll play any game and any stakes and suddenly he's backpeddling already. He tells me to set it up, so I do (I had never set up a private table before - can you really only go as high as $200 NL?). I tell him the name of it 3 times, and FINALLY he says he's coming. He stands up from the table and........ *poof*.... gone. I waited for about 5 more minutes, searched for him, and sure enough, he was offline.

Big freaking shock.

Anyway, I want to go on record: Party Poker's baddCA is a pussy.

There. I feel much better now.

I've seen far, far worse, of course, but add in this guy's attitude and taking money from him can be quite enjoyable. I would have loved to have schooled him heads up.

By "schooled," of course, I mean I would have love to have gotten my ass kicked by his ridiculous play and dumped a few hundred to him before putting a fist through my monitor and calling it a night.
