Default Poker Room / FCP (OnGame)...

I know RR posted this in the summary thread, but here it is again, in case anyone has a response:

From and FCP email:

Either Daniel being very active with the ownership of FCP, this is one of the sites that interests me the most. I'll be interested to see how things change for him over the next year.

I'm pretty sure this an independent statement released by Full Contact Poker and can not be extended as a global statement for the entire OnGame Network. The last I have heard is that the operators at OnGame Network are still looking at the issue and have not decided either way.

So if they do decide to ban US players, FCP maybe end up on an entirely different network all together.

Here's the official statement from Ongame Network:

On 30 September 2006 the US Congress passed the SAFE Port Act which also contained certain provisions known as the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 (the Act) that will affect the processing of payments between US customers and online gaming companies, including many of the gaming operators on Ongame Network. The legislation is expected to be signed into law by President Bush within the next two weeks.

Ongame Network is currently in the process of obtaining further advice with the objective of fully understanding the applicability and impact of the Act to our operators' US players. However, until the act has been signed in by President Bush, your gaming at Ongame Network will not change and you are still able to both deposit and cashout through the processors available on our gaming operators' sites. The funds in your account are yours and no matter what the outcome of this act, your money can and will be transferred to you from your gaming operator at your request.

Further announcements will be made in due course.
