Question on betting odds
Does this mean if I put a $100 on Dan hardy tomorrow night I win $800?
Not that I think that he will beat GSP but thats some sick odds. Why not throw down $10 or so to win $80. I remember a few years back wanting to bet on Rampage VS Lidell and Rampage was a huge under dog but I really didnt know where to put a bet in. Where is a good site that anyone knows of that you can put bets down on MMA fights? Sorry for the rant but im really curious about all this. Here are the current Vegas lines for UFC 111- UFC 111 betting odds (Courtesy Venetian Hotel Resort Casino): Official picks and plays on Saturday following the weigh-in Dan Hardy (+800) v. Georges St. Pierre (-1300) - UFC Welterweight title Shane Carwin (+110) v. Frank Mir (-140) - UFC interim heavyweight title Jake Ellenberger (+120) v. Ben Saunders (-150) -Welterweight Jon Fitch (+115) v. Thiago Alves (-145) - Welterweight Mark Bocek (+250) v. Jim Miller (-330) - Lightweight Rory Markham (+300) v. Nate Diaz (-400) - Welterweight Matt Brown (+130) v. Ricardo Almeida (-160) - Welterweight Fabricio Camoes (+180) v. Kurt Pellegrino (-220) - Lightweight Jared Hamman (+150) v. Rodney Wallace (-180) - Light heavyweight Tomsaz Drwal (+200) v. Rousimar Palhares (-250) - Middleweight Greg Soto (+210) v. Matt Riddle (-270) - Welterweight I feel like Shane Carwin has the best shot out of this card to pull the upset but the odds arent grate IMO. Alves is a stud too, so if anyone wants to put down a random bet I would go with him. Last edited by tonic; 03-27-10 at 05:13 AM. |
