Playing Online tonight for first time in ages...

Player short buys for half the buy in on a HUNL game.

Proceeds to double up after min raising his way to the point where we were both pot committed (with top two pair on a draw heavy board).

About fifteen hands later he leaves stating that my play is based entirely on luck and that he needs to go find a skill game. ( I was sitting at the table with four and a half buys ins after he doubled up on me)

I had a good chuckle after that one.

On a positive note I ended up winning about 40bb/100 hands for a few hours.

Maybe my game does run on luck (or at least variance). Ran top pair, two pair, and trips into a four flush or four straight on the board quite a few times to end my night.

I was playing against a guy that really isn't that good. He had predictable betting patterns and completed from the button 87.44 percent of the time. Typical calling station that would overbet his hands that he drew out on on the river.

When I made my first post I was up 2.5 buy ins on him, when I left I was down 1.5 buy ins.

Variance in NLHU is a bitch.

Pretty standard for HU. Usually I get some person that min bets every street call me a lucky fuck after I bust him. Or, get someone that never raises pre ask my why I am raising preflop as it doesn't accomplish anything.

Yeah, games are still good.
