Default Why I play live

5/5 NL

PFR to $40 one call, I reraise to $160 with KK, 2 cold calls from SB and BB, PFR calls caller calls

Flop Q K 8

SB (who has TT btw) bets $100 UTG into a $800
PFR (who has J 3 btw) calls $100
folds to me and I bump it to $400
SB folds, PFR calls all in for $20 less

turn and river r both spades naturally -- but I realize that the river spade was the Q so I get the pot with a boat.

and while Im on the subject one gem from yesterday's session

limp with 44 along with a few others, BB raises to $25 like 5 ppl call including me.

Flop J 8 4

PFR bets $25, I call, 1 other call, next guy raises to $75, cold call $75, PFR calls $75, I reraise to $325, folds around to PFR who calls all in with QJo

OK, fair point. That is redonkulous.

I've always said online play is way tougher than live (same limits), but... wow.

I think it depends on the player. For me, online it is easier to bluff and get paid off. When I play at a local bar I get eaten up. I am just really easy to read live, and thats why I prefer to play online.
