Default The Definition of Running Bad.

I'll take the heat for not raising preflop, but I tend to want to keep the pot small with KQ OOP.

No... when this continously happens to you, (fortunately at mini stakes) is when you are running bad

It has been happening a lot. In a $10 Limit O/8 tournament, I get A Kd Qc Qh in the sb and complete after 4 limpers.

Flop comes: A K K

I check, BB Bets, 2 calls, I raise, BB calls, 2 calls.

Turn: Q

I check, BB bets, 2 folds, I call figuring I'm only beat by one hand, so I fear no card.

River 3

I bet, BB raises, I 3-bet, BB caps (I think "no friggin' way"), I call.

BB has A A 2 3

bleh.

Meh.

5 handed 40/80 at 6AM this morning. I got there at 5AM so I was the "fresh" one.

I 3-bet the straddle w/A 9

All call.

FLOP: Q 3 4

Check, BB bets, straddle calls, I raise, BB 3-bets, straddle calls, I cap, all call.

Turn: T

BB bets, Staddle calls, I raise, BB 3-bets, straddle calls, I cap, call, call.

River: T

BB bets, Staddle raises, I fold, BB 3-bets, Straddle 4-bets, BB calls.

BB: 33
Staddle: T3o

California poker rules.

live game last night. 8 ppl SnG. 5 left. here we go...

SB (tight/passive) - 5,000 ish
BB (loose/calling station) - 6,000 ish
MEEE (donk apparently) - 5,900
4th folded (about 4k chips)
5th folded (about 2k chips)

I get dealt A A UTG. blinds are 100/200 so i go to 650, as im mixing raises alot.

SB calls as does BB.

Flop - A 2 8

Both check, i bet 750, SB folds, BB calls.

Turn Q

BB checks, I bet 1k, he min raises to 2k, i push he calls.

He flips 5 7

River 4

not bad, just the play was funny and thats how im running online.

He then says these exact words - "i knew i had odds, and i felt that i wsa gonna hit"

I said - What the fuck are u on???

The tables are so greasy tonight it's unbelievable. Been 3-4 tabling for 6 hours now. Up ~$1250 now and just around the corner from 2k hands. Tables are too nice to quit but I'm about to turn into a zombie. Also, getting a good start on that impossible FT bonus I just got.
