Bodog's WSOP Preliminary Event Satellites...
In addition to all the Main Event seats they are giving away, I see is running satellites to the WSOP Preliminary Events. It looks like they have two per day, at 9:05 and 11:05 PM ET. They are $50+4 and guarantee one "$2500 2006 WSOP Preliminary Event prize package." If there is no overlay (50+ people register) they give one away for every 50 players registered. Last night's each had 45 entrants.
That's pretty sweet. I may hit a bunch of these and see if I can take one down. Anyone else interested? |

I am, although I'd need to open an account and transfer funds -- do these prelim entries include hotel/cash (for flight etc) as well like most main event entries, or is this strictly the buy in to the tourny

Buy in(s) only, I believe. $2500 worth.

Looks like these are actually at 7, 9, and 11 PM most nights this week. I think I'm gonna try to hit a handful of them and see if I can take one down. So far, all the ones I have seen have had overlays.

BTW, to clarify - their Main Event packages are $12,500. I was talking about the Preliminary Event qualifiers earlier.
Also, I think all of their prizes are paid in $T.... meaning I think you could actually win a Main Event package and us it to play in a number of the Preliminary Events instead. I don't feel like looking it up right now, but I think that might be how it works. |
