New to the forum..Question
I'm new to this forum and so far I am really enjoying reading the intelligent conversations. I am trying to follow some of the lingo I've seen used alot so far and I understand most of it like 'PFR', 'MP', etc.. but one I really don't know what means is '+EV move'. Can someone please let me know what that means? Thanks.
edit: Also curious what 'CBs' stands for. Thx Last edited by EFortner; 03-01-06 at 06:44 PM. |

+EV : Short answer....this means that if you make this bet/move/raise/fold/etc over and over in the same type of situation, you will make money in the long run. -EV means you would lose money in the long run. (=Expected Value)
CB: Continuation Bet....you raise preflop and bet out at the flop regardless of whether you hit the flop (in certain situations)

ahhh, thank you very much. This makes a lot of sense cosidering the context in which these terms were used.
