Chris Ferguson Chip Castle (Photo)...
I'm watching this year's NBC Heads Up Championship right now, and they just did a quick feature on Chris Ferguson. One of the things they mentioned was that he has never lost a "Chip Castle Contest." I didn't even know such a thing existed, but the photo they showed was pretty impressive.

I think I'll stack my chips like that at the WSOP this summer.
At the very least, I'll have to do something like this, a la Carlos Mortensen. Sweet, eh? |

I bet...well, one blue and gree....no I can't do a green or it will fall apart....how much are the yellows, I could probably get to two or three of them, so I bet one blue two yellows and I would like to bet one black too but I will just have to...very carefully....move....this....
[everyone at the table simultaniously yells.....CLOCK~!!*#!]

I usually just go for Pyramid Power live, 100 chips makes a 1-2-3-4 quite nicely.

C.F is wild
That guy does some wild things. I saw that he won a 2000 person free roll for $4.40. He'll play just to try and parlay that 4.40 into something else. I really like the guy.

I've heard that he is trying a new challenge of going from $0 to $20K, ala his $1 challenge a while ago.

I definately like the guy, he seems to be a down to earth kind hearted fellow....
Those chip stacks are insane! Definately awesome! I might have to try that!

He is a good guy. Extremely personable face to face - nothing like you would expect (from the bits you see on tv, I mean).
I'm not sure if this is the same thing, but when I met Clonie in 2004, right when Full Tilt was going live, she was telling me about him turning $1 into $10,000 or something like that. I think it's pretty cool that he is disclipined enough (and patient enough) to play those stackes just to show that it can be done. She told me he was playing 8 (or was it 12) micro-limit tables at a time. Gotta love that. I'll give that podcast a listen. |

all thats on it is them saying bankroll management is critical 1,000 times. You could find that kind of serious info in any Stormswa thread in here...

He also mentions the 5% rule and says that he actually busted out with his first $1... but once he hit $15 in his account, he knew he wouldn't bust again.... and then he built it up to $20k. That's pretty impressive, you have to admit.
