$100 Hu...
All this recent Heads Up talk has gotten me itching to play. I played one tourney earlier tonight and won it with ease (7 minutes or so). Played four more tonight. Here is how they went... It's just good to see that the "Bad Luck Fairy" is still able to find me, even when I switch games when she's not looking:
Third hand of Match #1: PokerStars Game #5327619072: Tournament #26859047, $100+$5 Hold'em No Limit - Match Round I, Level I (10/20) - 2006/06/22 - 01:11:50 (ET) Table '26859047 1' 2-max Seat #2 is the button Seat 1: StarRainy (1490 in chips) Seat 2: Rogue23 (1510 in chips) Rogue23: posts small blind 10 StarRainy: posts big blind 20 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to Rogue23 [8s Th] Rogue23: raises 45 to 65 StarRainy: calls 45 *** FLOP *** [8h As 8d] StarRainy: checks Rogue23: bets 85 StarRainy: calls 85 *** TURN *** [8h As 8d] [9c] StarRainy: checks Rogue23: checks *** RIVER *** [8h As 8d 9c] [3d] StarRainy: bets 200 Rogue23: raises 365 to 565 StarRainy: raises 555 to 1120 <---Dammit. I seem to have again misplaced the HH for Match #3. This was another bad timing one, where we both flopped trips and I was outkicked or outsucked again or something - I don't remember exactly. Match #4: This is far from a "standard" play for me, but this guy was so slow, it was driving me crazy. I couldn't take it any more. I was fairly sure my hand was good, so I went for it. Well, we all know how that works out: PokerStars Game #5327967160: Tournament #26859715, $100+$5 Hold'em No Limit - Match Round I, Level III (25/50) - 2006/06/22 - 01:56:30 (ET) Table '26859715 1' 2-max Seat #2 is the button Seat 1: FTGU (1250 in chips) Seat 2: Rogue23 (1750 in chips) Rogue23: posts small blind 25 FTGU: posts big blind 50 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to Rogue23 [Ah 7h] Rogue23: raises 115 to 165 FTGU: raises 410 to 575 Rogue23: raises 1175 to 1750 and is all-in FTGU: calls 675 and is all-in *** FLOP *** [9h Td 8s] Rogue23 said, "lol" *** TURN *** [9h Td 8s] [8d] *** RIVER *** [9h Td 8s 8d] [3h] *** SHOW DOWN *** FTGU: shows [Qs Js] (a straight, Eight to Queen) Rogue23: shows [Ah 7h] (a pair of Eights) FTGU collected 2500 from pot *** SUMMARY *** Total pot 2500 | Rake 0 Board [9h Td 8s 8d 3h] Seat 1: FTGU (big blind) showed [Qs Js] and won (2500) with a straight, Eight to Queen Seat 2: Rogue23 (button) (small blind) showed [Ah 7h] and lost with a pair of Eights The good news is...... I was able to work my way back to the chip lead (lots of small pots), and then FINALLY: PokerStars Game #5328025940: Tournament #26859715, $100+$5 Hold'em No Limit - Match Round I, Level IV (50/100) - 2006/06/22 - 02:05:19 (ET) Table '26859715 1' 2-max Seat #1 is the button Seat 1: FTGU (1300 in chips) Seat 2: Rogue23 (1700 in chips) FTGU: posts small blind 50 Rogue23: posts big blind 100 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to Rogue23 [Ts Tc] FTGU: calls 50 Rogue23: raises 225 to 325 FTGU: raises 975 to 1300 and is all-in Rogue23: calls 975 *** FLOP *** [5h Ad Js] Rogue23 said, "lol" Rogue23 said, "vnh" Rogue23 said, "here comes the 3" *** TURN *** [5h Ad Js] [Kh] *** RIVER *** [5h Ad Js Kh] [Th] *** SHOW DOWN *** Rogue23: shows [Ts Tc] (three of a kind, Tens) FTGU: shows [4d 2c] (high card Ace) <---Monster Rogue23 collected 2600 from pot *** SUMMARY *** Total pot 2600 | Rake 0 Board [5h Ad Js Kh Th] Seat 1: FTGU (button) (small blind) showed [4d 2c] and lost with high card Ace Seat 2: Rogue23 (big blind) showed [Ts Tc] and won (2600) with three of a kind, Tens I went 1-3 tonight, thanks to this last comeback. At least I was able to end on a good note though. |

I know what both words mean... I just don't understand what they mean together, or how that could possibly be funny (I assume it was supposed to be funny).
