Can't Reply
I can make new posts, but cannot reply to most ever since the server change. The page just hangs like it is loading, then after 2 minutes or so pass, I get a problem loading page firefox screen.

Weird. I have no idea what this could be. I've had 0 problems since the server move.
Bunny - are you still having the problems you were having? Anyone else? |

I had a similar problem this morning. I changed my email address and the confirmation email went to the spam folder. After several PMs with TP, it got all figured out. Thanks TP. Next we can work on tying my shoes.

Yes.
I pmed you the answer, don't know why I didn't just say it here. Not myself these days.
It's like mayhem said. I try to post something and it hangs for a long while, then it will state there's a problem loading page. Same goes for avatar change or signature change. It took me about 4 tries to change my avatar. I've had this problem for quite some time now, ever since you made the move. Thought it was my computer, since no one else seemed to be having problems. Now, I don't wait till it hangs...I basically click on stop loading, then try to submit again, usually takes about 4 to 5 clicks. Problem is, duplicate posts and then I have to delete a post. |

If you are making duplicate posts, that tells me that the posts are going through.... not zero times, not one time, but multiple times, in fact.
And Mayhem, I've seen you posting in numerous threads recently. I guess I just don't understand how you guys (exactly two of you) can say that you can't post, while you are posting. It seems to me like there are a few unrelated problems here: 1. Mel - obviously unrelated. You have to confirm your email address before you are allowed to post. This goes for new users and anyone who changes their email address later on. 2. Mayhem - This sounds similar to bunny's problem. Do your problems all go away when you use ie? What have you changed that is allowing you to post now, or are you still having problems, like bunny described? 3. bunny - Same question. There is nothing "dangerous" on this site, so it's perfectly safe to access using ie. I understand not wanting to use multiple browsers, but if that solves the problem............. I guess the biggest thing I am not understanding here is how the problem seems so inconsistent. So far, exactly 2 users have made complaints, and I see them posting all the time, so it's obviously not a consistent problem even for them. But if this was a server issue, wouldn't more than 2 people have the problem? Again - if anyone else is having a similar problem, please let me know. Post it here, PM me, or if you can't do either of those things for some reason, email me at poker <at> talkingpoker.com. |

That definitely narrows it down. It's either a Firefox problem, or some sort of Firefox in combination with my new server problem. I'll keep looking into it.
Are there any Firefox users out there who have NO problems? Robb? |

I've noticed a few times that when clicking on the links for new posts sometimes the site hangs a bit. I would just click stop and click the link again and it would work. I hadn't thought anything of it until Bunny mentioned that's her issue when posting. It's very, very sporatic though and I figured it to be a firefox thing. I have not had any issues making posts though.

I haven't used IE. Don't really like to use it. So, don't know if it works on first try or not.
I have a continuous problem each time I post, using Firefox. Like I said, I click on submit and it will just hang for a minute then it will give me an error loading page. This will happen 4 to 5 clicks. It will eventually post what I need, if I click on it enough times. |

I'm good, haven't had any troubles posting. I've had a server timeout a couple times but nothing unusual. I think that may have more to do with my ISP throttling my bandwidth whilst I download torrent files. That just kills my browsing speed.
