Fantasy Football
I want to play a TPF league again this year. $10 buy in would be cool, anyone interested?

I can always be counted on to donate to the cause!
Maybe we should do two leagues? One regular w/ live draft etc. One salary cap league. I played this last year for the first time, and it was pretty cool, even tho I sucked. Lets do it. |

I will play for whatever stakes. The higher the better though.

I'm in for whatever, but I would be interested in doing both types of leagues as well.

I'd like to play too. And I think I prefer the salary cap league for this group of people.

How about a survivor pool? Anyone up for one of those?

I took a shot at setting this up based mostly off of the league two years ago.
League Name: TalkingPoker Password: TPFTPF Live Draft: Wed Aug 27 10:30pm EDT Heads Up league (weekly matchups, no option this year for salary cap?) Max Teams: 20 Scoring Type: Head-to-Head Start Scoring on: Week 1 Can't Cut List Provider: Yahoo! Sports Max Moves: No maximum Max Acquisitions per Week: No maximum Max Trades: No maximum Trade Reject Time: 2 Trade End Date: November 14, 2008 Trade Review: League Votes Waiver Time: 2 days Post Draft Players: Follow Waiver Rules Playoffs: Week 15 and 16 (4 teams) Roster Positions: QB, WR, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, K, DEF, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN Stat Categories: Passing Yards (25 yards per point) Passing Touchdowns (6) Interceptions (-2) Rushing Yards (10 yards per point) Rushing Touchdowns (6) Reception Yards (10 yards per point) Reception Touchdowns (6) Return Touchdowns (6) 2-Point Conversions (2) Fumbles Lost (-2) Offensive Fumble Return TD (6) Field Goals 0-19 Yards (3) Field Goals 20-29 Yards (3) Field Goals 30-39 Yards (3) Field Goals 40-49 Yards (4) Field Goals 50+ Yards (5) Point After Attempt Made (1) Sack (1) Interception (2) Fumble Recovery (2) Touchdown (6) Safety (2) Block Kick (2) Points Allowed 0 points (10) Points Allowed 1-6 points (7) Points Allowed 7-13 points (4) Points Allowed 14-20 points (1) Points Allowed 21-27 points (0) Points Allowed 28-34 points (-1) Points Allowed 35+ points (-4) Fractional Points: No Negative Points: No $10 entry for a side bet? Should be everybody in it if we are putting money in, IMO, but if the majority doesn't care people can enter and not go for the money. Let's see how many we have and we can do either top 1 or two for payouts.... Other thoughts post away. BB

You might need to log in (Yahoo) to follow link or just go to yahoo sports and search for league name?
If you need the league ID# it is 485400

Bump.....look up 3-4 post for details of head to head league.
If you would rather play salary cap, find somewhere that is offering it and set it up. I don't care either way, but time is running out....

Agreed. I personally thin kthe salary cap one is better, given our forum's level of interest, but I just don't have the time to set it up right now. If someone else does, count me in for whatever amount of money you all decide on.
We can use my "Talking Poker" account on Stars to hold the funds... no problem. |

Ok, they released Salary cap @ Yahoo.
I created a group and a team for myself. Opinions on which one to play (or both) and which one to put money on (or both)? I think I would prefer salary cap (as most others have stated) so I am fine with canceling the other one or playing it for fun in addition to the salary cap for a prize pool? couple of days left till draft in the head to head league....

I will play both and put money on either or both of them. I will make a cp team now. My name is meat curtains for both.

I will play both as well. I started this thread and feel obligated to contribute but I have no idea what standard settings are for these things. I'm still a noobsauce when it comes to fantasy sports.

Group Password TPFTPF that is a copy and paste from the site Link to group page: TalkingPoker is the group name, but I don't think you should need that.

I follow the link and it tells me I'm not a member of the group.
I try to login with the group # and PW at the main fantasy football page and it says the login is incorrect. I go to salary cap home and I can't find where to search for the league.
