Greenstein's Book - Ace on the River
Since I was ordering Harrington on Hold'Em Volume II anyway, I decided to pick up too.
Flipping thorught it, I think it has a lot of potential. It's printed on glossy pages (like a magazine) with loads and loads of photos. I started reading it last night, and so far so good (I'm still in the part about this life). Has anyone else read it? What did you think? |

i flipped through it at barnes and nobles one night, and it looked like a really nice book.
definitely a different type of book from every other poker book that i have seen, but it is very nicely done. i love the advice that having places to get laid when you are on the tourney circuit gives you an advantage over other players. great advice. it really focuses much more on the mental aspects of the game than anything else. interesting stuff, but i really only glossed over it. |
