Yeah, retarded. I bet the flop because I bet a lot of flops, wanted to build a pot, and wanted to squeeze CO between me and the PF 3 bettor. But obviously I'm slowing down on the turn, and he should have checked behind or bet small for sure, IMO.
The only thing I can think is he put me on the flush draw and didn't want me to miss and not get any more money out of me on the river, but hello - why such a huge bet that's going to make me fold any draw? It's a horrible play. He gets calls there from my exact hand and I guess maybe 88 and the very few, very unlikely overpair possibilities like TT and JJ. In other words, yeah, bad push. |
