Default Move up in SNG Buy-Ins?

Question for the masses. I've managed to play with most of you regulars at least a couple times whether it was a league event, the heads up thingamajob or the occassional cash table so you may be qualified to help me here .

As of late - I've been about 95% exclusive to 10$ STT SNG's and 4.40 180's. I've only played 2 of the 20$ STT SNGs (1st and 3rd). The thing is my bankroll is constant, not really going up and not really going down. I win one, I loose 2, I win one, I loose 2 etc. I'm not seeing it grow like I would like.

I don't think I'm a bad player (famous last words) and I was pondering two options:

1. Playing bigger buy in STT SNG's more often
2. Playing MTT 10$ & 5$ SNG's instead of the STTs

I don't think I want to play cash ring games because I've bee doing the tourney thing so often lately that I have a hard time shaking the tourney mentality in a cash ring game.

What say you?

If you havent blocked my chat on here.......

Id move up, you post enough wins, you clearly know what your doing, your game seems more suited to normal STTs, so i wouldnt play the turbos.

Id play say 100 $20s or $25s, get some numbers, i know its a small sample but its a start, and then figure out from there

But id seriously move up.

Whats moving up going to do? It is the same winrate per buyin when you move up and play the same type of SNG...If your roll doesn't move when playing SNG's , paying more for them isn't going to do anything. You may try more multi-table tournies though...

I've seen you play enough to know that you are not a bad player. If your roll can handle it, I'd say to take a shot, but be prepared to move back down if things go badly, or if you feel that you are playing differently because you are uncomfortable with the higher buy ins.

Did someone say something?

I think I will be moving up, just with caveats...

I was thinking of starting these in the $5 & $10 dollar buys

I was also thinking of combining some of the larger buy in STT's with the MTT's I mentioned above. Figure that may be a good mix. I multi-table these things so I'm thining of doing a 25% STT, 75% MTT mix of the above. I just cashed out some $$$ on PS so I'd have no issues reloading to meet the min br requirements. Probably xtransfer $$$ over from InterDumps and that other POS Party to my PS account.

Thanks for the advice..

np, the $3 rebuys, $20k gtd is pretty easy, if you dont mind the donk fest first hour.

I wanna suggest the $11 45man SNGs. These IMO, are pretty lame. And if you fancy a turbo, the $16s are sweet
