Default Is this guy an idiot, or was my play that transparent?

My VPIP was maybe 20% max at this table at this time. I couldn't believe it when he turned his hand over.

The flop call was because I intended to raise the turn. 90% of the time, I just raise the donk bet right there on the flop, but I decided to play it a little differently this time. Thoughts?

More importantly, do any of you call me down with 77 here? If so, tell me why.

This is what I dislike... there's certaintly a time for calling (ok with a gutshot also) with the intention to steal, but I dont think this is a correct spot to do. Raise this donk bet short of a read

On the river I think you floated the flop with AQ or have missed your club draw (I suppose a flopped set would also make sense if you switched it up and just called on the flop), so I dont dislike the call that much
