Default Anyone use Pokerroom.com?

I have some funds that have just been sitting in my Firepay account and wanted to sign up through one of TP's links just to show some support for the site and honestly hoping a change in sites for a few days would change my rotten recent run I have been on. Is this place decent? Worth throwing a few bucks at? Are cashouts handled quickly?
Thanks for any info you have.

I have accounts at most of TP's affiliates so the list is small and this one is on the short list.

Search around for a little bit and you'll find a number of threads singing the praises of . It's not the biggest or the best site out there, but it's a LOT better than mostof them... definitely in the top few. Good game selection, nice interface, good tourneys, great stats... I think you'll like it.

GL.

A friend of mine has only a MAC, so he only uses Pokerroom. He suggested it to me, as has TP and others. He showed me some of the games etc, seems pretty good. $5+1 is the lowest tourney though. They should probably have a few lower, but no big deal. Planning on trying them out after the holidays. Let us know what you think. Also, what do you play mostly?

GL!

For what it's worth, I made a $1000 deposit there yesterday. I need to earn 1050 points to clear my $150 reload bonus. Obviously I really am a fan of the site if I'm willing to play that many hands there

What are these 5+1 tourneys like? Number of players, duration, number of places that pay, etc?

Good site overall, not a busy as the major ones, but the play is worth it. Tournaments ae playable as there is none of that 2000 player stuff going on, played in one multi there that had 145 people in it, finished out of the money in 26th place and that took less than 2 hours. I didn't download the software, just used the web interface and one thing you should know is you have to be real careful say if your checking e-mail and someone sends you a link to click on, it uses the window you have open and shuts down the poker site. I am sure there is a way around this, but I don't know what it is, so unless you do, keep that in mind.
Most importantly IMO, cash in and cash out are very quick, I like that laot.

I also really like the size of the MTTs there... I always play through the software though - not just over the web. Another reason is that you can get great stats when you use the software. And a single click will import every hand you have ever played into Poker Tracker, for those of you who use it.

Isn't that the site, though, where they don't have no limit SNG's, just tournaments? I didn't want to play limit.

There's a setting in Internet Explorer to fix that - something about reusing sessions when clicking shortcuts or something... *rummage*

Reuse windows for launching shortcuts. It's found on the Advanced tab. Uncheck it.

Also, a good habit is to hold down the shift key when clicking links if you're worried about something like that. (Sometimes nothing works and it just screws you up.)

Or hell, use Firefox like I do... at home.
