Holiday.
We are planning our summer July/August holiday for 2007. My wife daughter(15) and myself.
Were fed up with the usual Spanish busy tourist overcrowded holiday and have done the expensive big fishing trip in Mexico last year. So I had an idea that I mentioned to my wife were I ask you guys for some ideas seeing as were all over the world. We dont really like the Disney world thing but like good weather, nice sites and a few good places of interest to visit, with a good night life perhaps visiting sports events or watching live music ect. So guys have you any suggestions perhaps if possible meeting up with a few of you for a few drinks and a little poker, perhaps planning a TP annual holiday were we get together for a poker holiday. I would love to invite you to Southampton if any of you are planning on coming over to the UK in the future.

Going on a carribean cruise with the family
Stopping in Bermuda. My family is psyched. I have 11,9 and 7 year old children. My wife and I went to London about 5 years ago without the kids and we had a fantastic time. Our first time to that continent. My mom has a shore house in Wildwood NJ so we usually do a week there as well. Hope you have fun on your vacation. Speaking of cruises, has anyone played poker on a cruise ship? Do they even offer it at their casinos?

If that's your criteria, at that time of the year, I'd highly recommend Chicago. If you go during the first week in July you can hit the Taste of Chicago in Grant Park (70+ food vendors from all over the city set up in the Park for a week of great food and free concerts). There's great live music at any of the blues bars, lots of great night life spots in Lincoln Park and for sports you can't beat a day at Wrigley Field (ask Shabi)... if you can't get tix to a Cubs game then you can always slum it and head to the South Side and watch the World Champion White Sox. On top of that there are tons of great museums, a great world-class aquarium, a beautiful lakefront, boat tours, a clean city, nice people and tons of other stuff to do.
Here's a link to the Taste of Chicago website:

You seriously can't go wrong with a trip there in the summer time. Let me know if that's where you finally decide upon as I lived there for 4 years and can definitely give you some good tips on places to see and things to do.
