Live vs Online
Ok here is what Im thinking;
I need some advice as far as online poker vs live poker.I dont know what my problem is but i'm a pretty solid consistant winner live .I play smart ,crafty and do really well.Online I have moments of greatness but I cant seem to get a handle on the on-line play and I dont know what the problem is.I usally will get bored and play to high or get bored and play too much.I really like the tournys but they too get so frustrating that It starts to drive me crazy.Anyone have these same feelings.Any advice as far as how to control all that? Let me know please.Thanks This weekend I killed commerce and hollywood park but cant do shit on .50/1.00 come on thats crazy

A few quick things:
-Remember that poker is a long term game. You can't really compare a couple thousand hands live to a couple thousand hands online. Variance is the biggest factor that will decide the difference in your results for such a small sample. -Live players are bad. In my estimation - and this is totally being pulled out of my ass - you have to move up at least 2-3 levels to see the same skill level of play live as you do online. -Are you playing a different game? I find it surprising that you say you get bored playing online, when I get bored SO MUCH FASTER playing live. If that's your problem though, start multi-tabling more. This will keep you interested and help control the number of hands you are playing. |
