FT "instant echecks"
OK, so I got an email from FT just now about their instant echecks option. See and for history, plus an uber screwing PShabi thread somewhere that I am too lazy to find. But I am going to do it because they are giving me $500 cash to shuffle money around. Is it too good to be true? If not, it clearly bets for the easiest bonus ever as I don't have to actually play to get the monies.
Hello xxxxxxxx, In this difficult payment processing climate, Full Tilt Poker is committed to providing our players with the best possible user experience and level of service. We?re pleased to inform you that as a previous high volume user of MyWebATM, you have been specially selected to participate in a Beta release of our newest, most efficient payment processing option yet ? Instant eChecks. Instant eChecks is a fast, safe and secure method of funding your Full Tilt Poker account, and is a great alternative to MyWebATM. Recent changes to MyWebATM deposit limits means that it may no longer fully suit your payment processing needs. It is with this in mind that you have been selected to try out Instant eChecks. Just click on the Instant eChecks button in the Cashier and fill in the required information to instantly and securely transfer money from your personal checking account to your Full Tilt Poker account. It?s that simple. As an added bonus for participating in the Beta release, we are pleased to offer you $500 in instant cash! To qualify for this instant cash offer, withdraw $2500 from your Full Tilt Poker account within the next 7 days using MyWebATM. Then, within an additional 7 days of your withdrawal, make a $2500 deposit using Instant eChecks, and Full Tilt Poker will credit your account with $500 in instant cash! This is not a bonus that you must earn points to release ? it?s $500 in cash straight to your account. Try Instant eChecks today and see the benefits for yourself. Sincerely, Full Tilt Poker |

sent FT support this reply, have to see what they say. BTW I never had troubles with MyWebATM, but a lot of folks at 2+2 did. And when those trouble started I just faxed the paper work and let FT send me checks. That has been the easiest way to get monies off the site for me.
Hello, I am more than willing to deposit $2500 via instant echeck to test your system, esp. if you are going to give me a $500 bonus for doing that. But I am suspicious as to why you would want me to use MYWEBATM specifically for a withdraw. I have reasons not to trust that company. In the past they have been tardy transfering money into personal bank accounts from MYWEBATM accounts and their support was not helpful if they replied at all. I find it concerning that you are trying to induce me to go back to that company after they have treated customers so poorly. I suppose if you guarantee the $2500 I am to transfer to MYWEBATM then I would be willing, but frankly I do not trust that company and will not transfer them a dime unless that money is guaranteed by a trustworthy third party. Like I said, if the bonus offer of $500 is still good I would be willing to deposit $2500 into my Full Tilt account. Please let me know if sending money through MYWEBATM is a required part of this bonus offer. edit to add-actually I sent them an email similar to the message above, but the one I sent them was full of grammatical errors. |

I'll be interested to see the response to this.
Am jealous I didn't get the same offer. I'm about due for a healthy withdraw anyway. |

here is their reply, notice they say nothing about MyWebATM in this reply. I will email back to clarify that it is not required.
"Hello xxxxxx, Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support. The purpose of this bonus offer is simply to introduce another deposit option, Instant eChecks. Also, this offer was only extended to players who have used MyWebATM on our site. As mentioned in the email, recent changes to MyWebATM deposit limits means that it may no longer fully suit your payment processing needs. Please keep in mind, this bonus offer is only available for a limited time so if you would like to receive a $500 bonus, no strings attached, you must do so shortly. As always, Allison, if you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us anytime. Best of luck on the tables! Regards, Maddon Full Tilt Poker Support" |

so is the point of this bonus to funnel some money to MyWebATM? Here is the reply I got from FT. BTW I am not doing this promo as something seems a little fishy to me.
Hello xxxx, Thank you for emailing Full Tilt Poker Support. I have reviewed your account "xxxxxx" and see that you recently received our special $500.00 Instant eChecks bonus offer. I understand that you have misgivings about withdrawing to MyWebATM. Unfortunately, in order to receive this bonus you must withdraw $2,500.00 to your MyWebATM account and then deposit $2,500.00 using Instant eChecks. We will then credit $500.00 cash into your Full Tilt Poker account. Withdrawing with MyWebATM is a required part of this bonus offer. Please let us know if you have any further questions, xxxxxxx, or if there's anything else we can do for you. In the meantime, we thank you for choosing Full Tilt Poker and wish you the best of luck at the tables! Regards, xxxxxxx Full Tilt Poker Support |

It is definitely strange... but I'd probably still do it. I'm a sucker like that.

ok, just as an update, I ended up doing this and getting the $500 bonus. Free money is good, particularly this month.

Cool, but did your cashout through MyWebATM go through ok?
FWIW, I cashed out (by check) twice last week and received both checks a couple of days ago. About one week total turnaround time, I think. |

yeah, mywebatm worked. You can only cash out 500 at day and they charge a $4 fee per cashing out, plus some random $12 or something deposit fee or some crap like that. It is fun to think of why is was worth that much money to FTP to funnel business to mywebatm before the end of the month.
I have been getting checks usually with a 1 week to 10 day turn around. I don't really keep track, as I trust FTP is good for it. |
