According to a customer service rep, it was confirmed that Poker Room will no longer accept new US members, however he said that existing members can continue to play without problems as long as they wish and that they can cash out some or all of their money as they wish. They will not however be allowed to redeposit.

pokerroom and its skins have a strong european player base (maybe the same as the rest, but it seems like more to me when I played there). I point that out because this situation boils down to if american players are more fishy or less fishy than the rest of the world. I guess this answers itself as since american fish will no longer be able to redeposit, the site should become more difficult either way.

that's very interesting...
so, of the 'big six', party and paradise have totally bolted, and pokerroom has kinda semi-withdrawn. all i have to say is, all of you guys who were regulars on those sites, remember the boot and when they come back crawling on their knees begging you back for your business few months from now, spit them in the eye. |
