Default Wow this one really stung

I was in a stars tournament with a little over 600 people we were down to like the last 250 or so. I'm dealt 33 in 1st position and just limp in, the guy in 5th position raises 4 times the big blind everyone folds and I call.

So I'm figuring he's on a big pair QQ, KK, AA, so i call hopingto flop a set. If I do I'm going t check and he's going to push all in and i will obviously call, or he is gonna make a raise and I will re raise all in. By the way If i do not flop my set I am definately going to fold if he makes any so bet.

So flop comes 3 9 8

I check... he pushes all in I call...

He has KK

So i flopped my set and he is going to hit one of the remaining kings in the deck to beat me.

Turn comes another 9 giving me a boat.

Damn you guessed it... the river was the King of clubs

Not a bad beat but just one that stings, although I was the 4 to 1 dog pre flop...

Life goes on....

I usually fold 33 every chance I get, unless I can see a flop at the absolute minimum (BB). I don't know how many times 22, 33, 44, etc have stung me in the ass.

That sucks too catching the flop, bad beat.
