WSOP ME Updates (aka Go Wes!!!!!)
2044 players remain with an average stack of of 94,300
News that you don't care about: One of my two horses has busted  . The other is above avg at 149k. Another good friend of mine (that I do not have a piece of though) is also right there at 150k. A third player from the local card rooms is short stacked at 30kNews You May or May Not Care About: Wes is currently also above avg at 122k Day off Today, Play resumes tomorrow

According to the updates , they are just about ITM... so assuming BL is still in it he's about to cash in the ME. Which would mean lots more drinking money and even better drunken blog posts! Woot.

We're officially ITM and Wes has over 600k btw, avg is just over 300k

Hmm...Missed this from the other day:
Other notables include qualifier Adam York from Bristol, England, sitting with 265,000 while Vijayan Nagarajan, a long time EPT regular, has 240,000. Matt Wood from Ontario Canada is only slightly behind that on 220,000 with Wesley Ismay from Arizona behind him on 200,000. Apparently Wes relocated from SD to AZ. Can't say I blame him really... On their most recent entry from this morning they list him as a "Pokerstars Player" as well. It shows that he was a DBI (I'm guessing Direct Buy In) so I'm guessing that he's wearing PS colors. Go Wes!!! |

Yeah, but I also saw one other reference to him residing in AZ. I forget where though. Did he qualify or did he use VPPs to buy-in? That would explain the "DBI" instead of "Online Qualifier"

Recent Eliminations Todd Hunter was eliminated after running his pocket jacks into the pocket aces of Wesley Ismay. Ismay is now up to 1,500,000.
