Full Tilt Disconnected HHs...
Lame.

does that mean you don't play enough? In which case they don't give a shit about your business. Or that you play too much? In which case you'd think they'd actually like to provide good service.

It means I play too much, so queries for my HHs take up too many resources.

You would think that extra rake they receive from your for playing more would cover that.

That's so back-ass-wards... if they were smart they'd set it up so that you have to average X number of hands per month (or have gold status or something like that) to retrieve HHs. Let the people who play there the most enjoy this option, not the opposite.

WHY THE FUCK DID I OPEN MY MOUTH? Bell, go fuck yourselves please. DSL can lick my nuts, I'm switching to cable. No internet for a week, and I get disconnect in the middle of 2 $100 buyin tourneys, as well as a hand with broadway straight and an already 200 dollar pot. I'm gonna kill someone.

These untimely disconnections seriously cause more rage in me than anything else in poker. When I've already clicked "fold," no biggie, but when I'm staring at the nuts and my opponent has just moved in and all I have to do is click "Call" to collect the 4 digit pot.... Dear God, man! That actually happened to me the other night, but thankfully, my connection was restored in time for me to click the call button. Usually, that's not the case.
Full Tilt doesn't believe in Disconnect Protection, and I understand why, but if you have a shakey internet connection, it's certainly nice to have. |

Seriously, maybe having no internet at home for a couple days is a good thing now, cuz the raging monkey tilt im on after being stuck on the day and in the middle of all that shit Id surely lose alot more than I did.
Oh and this is awesome, I run over to my GFs house with my laptop and log back on to mansion to find myself sitting with 7BBs on the bubble and KK in the pocket. OBV the BB has Aces, gg.

Well, here's an unexpected update to this story. It should be noted that I never wrote them back or anything. This just showed up today:

Interestingly enough, when I imported the file FT sent me, PT claimed to have imported 355 new hands! According to my numbers though (I took notes before importing), a total of 30 new hands were imported into my stats, resulting in a net $28 loss for me overall. Ohhhhhh....
Maybe the 355 is counting lots of other "incomplete" hands where I was sitting but didn't play or something like that. Who knows... Anyway, GG Full Tilt. Finally. |

So, what I'm wondering...
Is there some sort of advisor that saw what a braindead precedent this was setting for big accounts and decided to fix it? Or, does the FTP support staff read this website?

I have no idea, and was wondering the same thing. My guess is either the former, OR.... I thought it was possible that one of you guys reading this may have emailed them a complaint about how they are treating their "big" players, with a link to this thread.
Either way, I'm glad they fixed things in the end. I have to tell you though, this isn't the first time where I've gotten a boneheaded response first, only to be followed up with an apology and the correct response. In fact, I'll guess this is about the 4th time this has happened to me with Full Tilt. It's like their first line of response isn't that great, but they get the job done in the end. Sometimes it just takes a little persistence. |
