Default Free $25 for two new members!

Last month's freeroll generated a lot of new members to this site. While the quantity of their posts was plentiful, the quality often left a lot to be desired.

So, what I'd like to do is reward TWO of the new posters (registration date MUST be "November, 2005") for going above and beyond and making quality posts.

Most of the rif-raf has already cleared out (I purposely waited a couple of days), but there are at least a handful of new posters who have stuck around, even without promise of freerolls, etc, etc. And now two of them are about to be rewarded.

I have a couple in mind, but I'd rather leave it up to a vote. So first, let's get some nominations in. Nominate yourself or nominate someone else - it matters not to me. What were are looking for here are the two best NEW posters.

After a day or two of nominations roll in, I'll throw up a poll. The winner will get $15 and the second place finisher will get $10. I know this isn't TONS of money, but it's certainly a lot more than your equity was in the freeroll that so many people went ballastic about, and it's also a hell of a lot more than the $1 and $5 that people beg for in the Backer section all the time.

I won't norminate anyone myself, so as to not throw off the results with my opinion, but if my peeps don't get nominated by someone else (they will), you bet I will.

Let the fun begin!

Edit: Let me be very clear about this. We will be picking two people based on their posts from NOVEMBER, so there is no need AT ALL for anyone to start posting a lot to try to get attention NOW. Not as far as this contest is concerned anyway.

You can nominate as many people as you like. If you put over 10 names in there though, I'm gonna smack you up.

BTW - there is no need to re-nominate people who have already been nominated, but if you want to, I guess that's cool too.

No offense HE, but aren't about 90% of your posts begging for money and then getting all pissed off when people wouldn't give it to you? Call me crazy, but that's not really "quality."

This is off the top of my head. I haven't reviewed your posts or anything, but I am a little surprised to see you and Aresenic would even bother nominating yourselves.

If you guys really think you contributed more to this forum than any two other new members, please accept my apologies. But if you are simply rolling the dice in hopes of some free money, maybe you should stick to the Looking For a Backer section.

Nomination or not...winning money or not...I'm staying because I've already won about $100 by reading your posts about strategy and things of that nature. I don't post often for many reasons:
1. If I don't have anything noteworthy or worth saying, I don't say anything.
2. I travel a good deal with my work.
3. My son travels almost as much as me with his soccer team and wrestling team, thus making me travel without work.
4. I mainly joined to learn more about real money poker, not to win any popularity contests or really to make a bunch of online friends (even though many of you seem to be great people), it's plain and simple, if someone knows a good deal more about something than I do I watch what they do, listen to what they have to say or in this case read what they have to say, and apply the information I've gained myself. For that information I am very appreciative. I will try to post some more as I can, which I hope will be to thank you all again for your helping me continue to win more at poker.

N1kita & chrisash

*only fair that all the women get a chance at this too, imo

Thanks for the nomination. I'm all about this forum and learned some great things that have contributed to increasing my stack. This is a great place to hang my hat and I enjoy playing with you folk.

My nomination would is a bit interesting and probably will get a reply or two. The folks who are contributing still IMHO are fantastic posters and chances are will all get nominated anyhow.

I'm going with Longshot (even though he already nominated himself sorta). He may not have been truthfull but I think he is eager and hungry to learn this game as we all are. I think he was just trying to impress you all and due to his youth..well, he has a bit to learn. I think with some good mentoring and a bit of guidance (theres alot of posters here who are good mentors) he may end up being a force on the table. Just my 2 cents.

Flame away......
