Poker Chips
I was wondering where can I find some REAL poker chips?
I dont want the metal insert ones or anything, I want real casino clay ones like you would have at the WSOP or something. The best ones Ive found are the allin poker chips that use to be advertised on ESPN. I would also like to find some without all the stickers with dollar values so I could use them for home games and put my own value on them. thanks in advance for any help. |

I think the best VALUE chips you can get, is to get a set of Nevada Jacks/Desert Sands thru pso. (If you dont know what pso is pm me, I dont want to spam.......)
Anyway, I just got a 300 set on monday, and they are SWEET. They have a rough texture, making them feel totally different than any of the composite chips we all play with. I feel like my dice chips are obsolete now. People who have both these and real clay, say the clay are of course the best, but these are a close second. You can get these FREE. Not too bad. |

I think I'm going to order from them too.
Let me know if you get a referral bonus from them and we'll talk.

Nope, nada..... they aren't cheap and their turn around time is just shy of "forever," but the chips are awesome. I love playing with them.

Check out they have some nice clay ones there. They are having a pre-sale buy for some cool ASM chips - Key West Casino. I bought some of the Pharaoh Casino chips and they are sweet (Paulson's).

All of your answers can be found here,
Your choices for custom casino chips are ASM (pokerchips.com), TR King, and Blue Chip for traditional molded clay chips and Nevada Jack and Chipco for ceramics. As mentioned buying custom chips can be expensive ($1+ per chip). Chiptalk almost always has several group buys going on customs. The advantages of the group buy are that you usually get a pretty significant discount because of the volume of chips being bought and taking advantage of the wealth of knowledge from the contibuters there. The disadvantages are that you have to compromise somewhat on the design (and it won't be completely unique to you) and it usually takes a long time to hammer out the final designs and place the order. The next best thing to custom designed chips are probably Paulson home chips. These can be found with just the denomination on them or as 'James Bond' chips. Order samples and figure out what you like. Personally, I like the TR Kings the best. |
