Default WSOP: The Year Of Humberto!

Humberto Brenes has been tearing up this year's WSOP so far, making it to 2 final tables already and placing 3rd and 8th. Now he's tearing it up in Event #19 as well. Honestly, I will not be suprised at all if Humberto wins a bracelet (or two?) this year.

Though the guy was super annoying in his heads up match against Huck Seed, he's still very entertaining to watch.

Anyways, I thought his outstanding play this year so far deserves it's own thread.

While watching Mayhem at his feature table ,I was up above the table on a balcony and nexy to me was H. Brenes .His friend was playing against Mayhem.I talked with him for about 30min about mainly the difference between pot limit and nl hold-em.He was really cool and helpfull with 0 attitude.I really hope he does win at least one!!!

I can't say I'm a huge fan - he annoys the shit out of me when he's doing his schtick for tv.... but.... in person, he seems like a pretty decent enough guy.

I saw him posing for photos with fans, letting them hold his shark and all that. He bumped into me the other day and said "Excuse me" - little stuff like that that the typical way too full of themself celebrity doesn't do.
