I usually give people the benefit of the doubt first. Afterall, this is the intarweb with a good 15-20 hops between your PC and Party Poker's servers.
Just be glad he didn't call |

I would rather have him call and lose more money than have someone d/c on me all the time. Losing fair and square is one thing but losing to someone that takes advantage of the system is another. I odn't know, I find it hard to believe he truly d/c there....maybe that's just me

Disconnecting
All,
I have been playing on PP for about 5 months now and never had a problem with my connection. Recently I was disconnected once and had to "reestablish" my connection several times. Not sure if their servers are getting overloaded or if there is a new problem with my connection. I have a DSL line so there shouldn't be any issues but who knows. Sounds like the guy who you were playing with was a real loser. |

I have DSL myself and play at UB. I have just made a move from the big city to the suburbs. I must admit that my connection has sucked serious ass since I moved. It seems my all-in protections are gone every day. It really sucks because it obviously lags my winnings but nothing I can really do until they improve service to my area. I'm just happy my connection remained intact long enough to win that marathon 4 hour multi last weekend.

Hey,
I play on a wireless connection, and sometimes I disconnect because the connection suddenly becomes weak. By sometimes I mean once every 4-7 days. I know a lot of players play with similar wireless connections, and it can change drastically sometimes. Basically, I would also give them the benefit of the doubt. Although on PS when I see someone is about to disconnect, I min bet with any 2 in the hopes that they fold mwahahaha. Cheers, Gutzz |

I don't know about you, but, I would be glad he did the disconnect thing rather than call on that particular hand.
At that limit I would say he would have called that for sure.
