New England tpf meetup & degen...?

Hey,

I not sure exactly what my time/money/transportation situation will be but, I am gonna be home in the Boston area for a few weeks, flying in wed. Aug. 20th.
Talked with Blibbity over p.m. and he is up for something if we can get it together.
Also, Wes is supposed to be in Boston around labor day (and the east coast in general before that), on one of his awesome trips.

So, there are like a million things we could do............

*Red Sox vs. Yankees @Yankee Stadium: last reg. season visit
(tues/wed nite; thursday Aug. 26-28)
*Red Sox vs. White Sox @Fenway labor day weekend
(fri/sat nite; sunday)

*Patriots pre-season game friday Aug. 22nd
*Patriots reg. season opener sunday Sept. 7th

*tpf golf outing
*home poker game at someones house
*degenerate trip to Foxwoods

*who knows what else we can come up with, we could always just get f'd up and see what happens!

The tickets to any/all of these games are obviously gonna be tough to come by and pretty expensive but maybe. Wes and his brother are supposed to go to both Fenway and Yankee stadium, but isnt sure how many games he will be going to. So if anyone has any hookups for tickets, cash in all your favors now! If all else fails, maybe we can all just keep making prop bets with Wes til he has to buy us a full table on top of the Green Monster!!!!!



So lets see if we cant set something up.

just spent two weeks out in NH and VT. Alas, that is all the traveling I am doing this summer. But we go out every summer, so '09 for sure.

F the Boston sports...no offense. But I definitely could be talked into Foxwoods depending on the date.

Never thought I'd live to see the day where people (except NY'ers) hated Boston sports teams more than they hated NY teams.

Awesome.

However, Boston sports are mega pricey, so I have no problem not doing a game.

If it's after Labor Day, Mohegan will theoretically have poker again as well. I've always liked Mohegan better than Foxwoods. Cooler place to hang out, drink, and babe watch.

I can also host a home game if its on a weekend, but I'm a good 60miles from Beantown.
