Nice site for the most part. Where do they get these players though. I assumed people would be fairly good because it seems to me that anyone latching on to a new site would likely be somewhat "in the know" in the poker world. So far, these are some of the easiest games i've ever played. Other than taking forever for a sit n go to fill up, nicely organized site.

I notice a lot of the same players I see at Noble. Since Titan was started by the group that used to own Noble perhaps they inadvertently (wink, wink) took copies of some of their email lists with them when they walked out the doors at Noble.

16.6x bonus release though(at 2/4 limit, worse at lower limits). They say they're trying to attract players, but they're not going to attract any intelligent ones with that bonus.

That might be a good thing, however.

So tp doesn't have to mention it, he's got a sign up deal going for a free $50 (on top of the "bonus) when signing up somewhere in the spam section for th ose of you without an account yet. Always nice to have.

16.6x is big yes, but so is 100% matching...

A few things irk me about the site. The tournament structure is kind of weird with 1000 starting chips and blinds at 10/20, i find myself overbetting the pot a lot because I dont pay attention, however the slow blinds really make it ok. However, everyone gets pretty shortstacked deeper in because theres just not a lot of chips in there overall.
The fact that you cant see how much of your bonus you have cleared and how much there is left to clear kind of sucks though.

It's actually "only" $40 now (they cut my commission), but anyone who signs up this month will also be entered in a $300 freeroll for just us TPF guys in early October. Details here:

I've played a couple more times there, and the buzzer when your up has got to go. I don't think you can shut it off either. Everytime it is my turn I feel like I'm in a gymnasium at a basketball game. Also, I tried to play a tourney on Stars and limit on Titan, and I don't think you can do it if you want to change your monitors resolution. Titan just takes up the whole screen no matter what. I am liking it less and less as I play even while I'm winning.
I do like the fact that you can get in a 10 or 20 dollar multi table tourney that doesn't have 1500 people though. Stars needs to run capped tournies. It is getting ridiculous.

[quote=humpty99]I've played a couple more times there, and the buzzer when your up has got to go. QUOTE]

That's my main pet peeve of the site. First they give you hardly any fucking time to act, and then that annoying loud buzzer goes off. I haven't found a way to change it either. Like somebody else mentioned before, makes multi tabling damn near impossible. As far as playing on another site while on Titan/Noble, I haven't had problems with this at all. The table on Titan/Noble takes up the same amount of space as any other table on any other site I've p layed on so I don't know why it's taking up the whole screen on yours.

Well, if I were to turn the volume off, and multi-table or read this forum while I'm playing, I'd time out every other hand because they give you no time to act. I don't want to click back and forth every five seconds to see if it's my turn or not. A gentle beep beep is all they need, not a fuckin air raid siren. At least ten more seconds to act would be really nice too.

Yeah, I know... first time I heard it I ducked under the table!!

Oh, by the way, you might already know this but watch out for the "TURBO" tables where you have even less time to act!

I wasn't aware of the Turbo tables. Thanks for the heads up. I can't believe they give you less time to act. Just enough time to manipulate your bet slider and pray you hit the right bet amount. That blows. You'd have to be a pretty impatient mofo to prefer the Turbo tables.

I actually prefer them. 6max: no need to manipulate the slider, keeps the game going fast, I get to play more hands.

My gripe is the game selection. Yuck.

You can change this in the options (at least you could in Noble and CD Poker). I think it defaults to full screen though which is a bit stupid when it's 800x600.

Default My take on Titan

So my NetTeller deposit finally cleared, and I got a chance to try Titan. I liked it fine, and as Party player, the added stats are cool.

It’s funny – I’ve complained about people taking forever at Party, and there’s no question you have to act fast on Titan. It took a little getting used to, but after a while I’m sure I’d prefer it.

The added $10 came as promised. The 10% bonus would be very tough to clear in its entirety, but playing 1/2 shorthanded, I raked up a couple hundred Crowns pretty quick, and hope to earn at least $10 of it. Biggest complaint – why make you contact customer care (costly for them, inconvenient for me) to find out how many I have.

And of course, I can’t sit at my choice of a dozen tables with no waiting, and the BB jackpot chasing monkeys aren’t there.

But overall, not bad. Thanks for hooking us up TP.

Supposedly they'll be sending weekly email updates with the number of Stars you've accumulated. Although I've been playing there for a week and have not received one yet. But if you don't want to wait another week to find out where you're at then, yeah, you've got to contact customer service which sucks.

Default Titan cashout

I just completed a cash out of my initial deposit and a small win. Took a day and a half to be processed, then another few hours to hit Neteller. But it is there now, so no complaints.
