180 $20+2's SUCK
I just want to let everyone know how absolutely Horrible i am running in these. I really like them for some reason tho, and now they are like a big challenge to me, i constantly want to play them now tho and i determined to get ahead in these - right now im Way in the Negative. lol.
Does anyone have good advice or basic strategies for these things cuz they are killing me and i feel like im playing pretty good.

Yeah, don't play AA.
I'm in the same boat with you JD. I was rolling in one last night and had a good feeling I was going to go deep, then death by Aces...

I'm not meaning to brag, but I think I'm the most successful at these out of everyone on the forum. All I can come up with is some pretty simple advice though.
I'm sure you have noticed that over half the field is gone by the first break. EVERY TIME. what that says to me is alot of people try to play the double up or bust out quick strategy. DONT DO THIS. Play tight as fuck and just wait for the big hands. Of course getting paid off when You get something good helps alot in this stage. I find just by playing tighter than normal in the first hour, I can usually be above average after the first break. If I dont hit any hands though, I'm in big trouble and will need to get lucky at least once. After the first break is where you really crank it up. Like put that bitch in overdrive. Steal as many blinds as possible if your table is passive. If It is agressive, then try to see some cheap flops in position and take advantage of your opponents need to bet anything. One thing I have gotten better at recently is taking notice of at least 2 players at your table who are passive post-flop. Isolate against these players as much as possible and just rob them of chips. Thats pretty much all I can think of for now, I will probably post some more later when more comes to my head. I will also probably make a video of me playing one after finals are done, but knowing me, I will crack under the pressure and bust in 40th or so with everyone watching.

Good advice, I know the first hour of these things are ridiculous, some extremely poor poker considering its a $22 buy in I would think the level would be much higher. I think I'll try being Really tight like u talked about in the first hour, I've already been playing pretty tight to start out with but I'll see if i can get even tighter. Good thing variance in MTT's is so high or I would feel like I just completey suck at these, but i really think I'm gonna make the $ I lost in these back soon. I hope.
