Here's my offer (and probably shabi's too since it looks like there is some formatting error with Party's e-mail that causes copy and pasting to mess up).
Step 1 11,000 Points $.015 per point Step 2 25,000 Points $.020 per point Step 3 315,000 Points $.025 per point This is not worth my time since the vast majority of tables are Monster tables now. This offer does not make up for the extra rake that I would have to endure through playing on the Monster tables. |

Either you misread/misposted your information or Party is politely telling you to go stick your thumb in your ass at Stars.

It was just some formatting error with the e-mail which joined the step # with the offer. So, I did get the same offer as you.

Are you sure about that?
This looks like a reasonable promotion to me.... It's basically a little bit of rake back. Is it enough to make up for the Monster stuff? I'm not sure. Let's say you earn 40k points. If I am reading this right, that gets you into a $1 million freeroll. I have NO IDEA how many people play in these, but if it's 5000 (I'm just picking a number), your entry is worth about $200. If it's 10k, it's worth $100, and so on. On top of that, you can cash in those 40k points for $1000 cash. So, figure that's equivalent to $1200ish, or an actual 3 cents per point. So... here's my question: How much do you have to spend in Rake to earn points? More specifically, how much do you have to spend to earn 40k points? And how much will you be spending on the Monster while earning those same 40k points? If anyone can answer these questions, please do. I don't feel like looking it all up and figuring it all out right now. |

Party's games are not even that good when compared to other sites. That is the main reason why I'm not playing there. The Monster promotion was just the tipping point for me not playing there.

That sounds like wishful thinking to me Boobie, honestly. Spill the beans if there's a better site. Don't you dare say Titan either, because although I've never been there, I'd be willing to guarantee I won't find 4 5/10 tables with 40% VPIP there. That's if there are even 4 tables at once.
However, if I get sick of this SNG thing, I'm thinking about going back to my old methods of 30-40% rakeback at other sites and just playing 1 table from 3-4 different sites. Sigh, that was a pain in the ass. TP, I'm in no mood for maffs, but I read that for a NL1000 player, with gold status, this promotion is basically just canceling the monster rake.

I'm sure for a limit player, Party is still the best. But, if you are playing NL, Bodog, paradise, and titan all have softer games than Party. I swear the 600 NL 6max tables at Bodog play like 200 NL everywhere else.

Dude, monster cuts .5-.6BB/100 off my winrate. It's not the best anymore. If I go back to limit, it won't be there unfortunately.

I realize my money is meaningless to them, and that whoever reads it most likely will not understand my eloquent use of the english language, but I just fired off a pleasantly nasty email asking them to compare the rake they got from me at 5/10 compared to the puny $3 fee they collect from each SNG I play. From my wife, of course.

Sounds awfully familiar. Amount of Rake I have generated for Party Poker since (has nothing to do with Monster): $0.

Didn't see that post, and I'm surprised they wouldn't hook you up.
BTW, the max rape at Party is $3, not $2. Enjoy!!!!!!

I've been getting more and more into the Prima sites. There are a ton and traffic is always fairly solid. Oh, the players also suck ass. They also have a ton of 1st deposit bonuses and I'm currently going through the list and hitting up every site I can (I have about 4 easy, 10X $200 max bonuses left to do).
The dual casino sites are also nice. A lot of time you'll get some stupid casino guys playing poker without a clue. I haven't played at Party since their last reload (just before Monster Tables) and I have no intention of playing there again until they do have a reload. I'd rather play my sit-n-gos and MTTs on Stars and I'd rather do my ring gaming on Prima. My prediction: PokerStars overtakes PartyPoker as the biggest site to play on by the end of the year.

At 6 max tables, it's $2.

That is correct.

No, it's not. If there are 5 players at the table, it is $2. 6 though, it is $3.

Shit, you're right. Was this changed recently? I haven't played short-handed O8 there in a long time but I don't remember the rake getting this out of hand.

Likewise... I thought the max rake at 6 max was $2. Didn't realize that was only if the table isn't full.
What a joke. |
