WSOP Circuit Caesar's AC
Events started yesterday and the Main Event starts a week from today. I'll probably be going up either Monday or Tuesday. If I go Monday night I'll probably play the Tuesday $500 Event, if I go up Tuesday night I'll probably play cash that night, then hit the 1 table sattys on Wed for the ME on Thursday (If its the same as Harrah's last circuit they have 10 player $520 Winner gets a seat plus $50 or 10 player $1040 top 2 get a seat plus $50). Last time it played 2 $500 ones, dominated both of them, although I finished 3rd in the first table due to extreme bad luck. Both tables were soft to extremely soft IMO, although ex WPT champ Raj (something) was at my table the second time (played AK passively and I flopped top two with AT and he stacked off)
I probably plan on staying through Sunday but it depends on what happens (and what my friend wants to do also). My friend final tabled last Circuit Event at AC, maybe this'll be my turn. If anyone's gunna be around lemme know

Not sure if anyone cares considering the 0 responses but ended up finishing 2nd in a single table satty for the main event (won $1000 net in safety + split the last longer bet) but didnt get the seat. Decided to play cash instead, mostly 5/10 but briefly played in a 10/25 game when the 5/10 game was switched to that.... a little over my head but I adapted ok I think
Adrian bought directly in and cashed in his 2nd consecutive WSOP Circuit Main Event in 22nd place for $8000+. A bit disappointed bc he finished day 1 in 8th chip position, and was the chip leader at one point during day 2

Zy, sorry I didn't send you luck in this thread earlier. Nice finish and keep the reports coming. Also, how is the living off of poker going for you in general? Are you able to live with the stress of it? Look, I could ask you a million of questions about it, as this topic interests me greatly, so it is best not to get me started.
Also, someone was preaching to me about tonight. The guy I was talking to is a prick so I had to drop and and told him NYC was nothing but hipster kids in trucker hats pretending. But I am curious, is the beer any good? |

Been going good thus far. Stress is low/none most of the time but part of that has to do with my lack of significant bills at the moment. I've had my two biggest months ever in Jan and Feb, and so far in March I think im on pace to have another top month.
I played poor the first night at Caesars but also ran bad. When the 5/10 game switched to 10/25 (the highest ive ever played b4) I adapted pretty well and dont think the stakes changed my game much, although I was folding some of the speculative hands I'd play for a limp in lower stakes (probably a good thing). The 2nd night 5/10 I was on point and dont think i made 1 bad decision the entire session...pulled off a few nice moves but overall played solid. Now back to the underground grind As for the beer thing, Im more of a normal domestic beer drinker (Bud etc) so im probably not the best source

-Rep for being a tool.
Kidding. I always enjoy your trip reports too, and am looking forward to hooking up in Vegas again during the WSOP if we are both out there at the same time this year. |
