Sucks op.

And completely disagree on shoving flop in hand one.

Thank-you Storm.

Why shove the flop of 1095 rainbow with TT with 1 player behind??

Makes no sense.
Played both hands perfect, just very very unlucky.

Perhaps it's just my opinion on tourney poker, but I'm happy to take this down on the flop with a RR.

Usually when I flop the nuts I try to get maximum value from the hand, but since I don't play tournament poker I guess maximizing value doesn't apply.

I should have said I'm happy for him to also call the shove since we know we're ahead and there's a good chance one of them is calling a shove. What about those times we flat call and a brink hits the turn and villain shuts down? I don't know that a flat call gets the max value you're focused on BL.

In any event, there is something to be said for small ball in tourney poker... but I get your point about maximizing value, even though you seem to have difficulty making a point without being a sarcastic little twit.

Just saying we ran into the one hand that is going to call a shove. All other hands that lead here, like a weak pair trying to "find out where it is", isn't going to put much more money into the pot at least on the flop. Plus, there is a player behind us so hopefully we'll try the action that will least discourage action from him.

Understood. I'm just think that maximizing value isn't the only factor in a tourney decision.
