Default Folding Axs from MP

Assume 9-max Ring Game (NL25), and there have been no callers before me, I'm 2 off the button

I assume that it's pretty standard to fold here with A2s - A9s, because as I see it with that hand you're really looking for a flush/flush draw rather than an Ace Pair. If you do pair the Ace, it can be tough to tell when you're ahead.

Is this the general consensus?

If you can't fold TP, fold them preflop. If you are capable of folding TP hands, open for the standard raise, CB most flops and shut down after that with most non flush hands. BTW I am liking A2s-A5s more than A6s-A9s these days, as NO ONE gives credit for the wheel.

Interesting, I have never thought to raise to isolate with Axs, just assuming it to be -ev I guess.

The way I (currently, admit to not being great poker player) play A2s -A9s is limp from late position if there are callers to look for a flush, and bet if the pot is checked to me. If if it's folded to me PF, then I will raise to Isolate. From MP I will call if there are a couple calls before me, or 1 call if the people behind me have high VPIP. From early position I will generally fold.

Am I playing this too tightly? (remember NL25, 9 Max)
