TalkingPoker.com Mousepads...
I think custom TalkingPoker.com mousepads would be way cool, so I plan on ordering a bunch. Maybe I'll give them out as contest prizes or use them for special promotions or even sell them for a very reasonable price to anyone interested... that's all TBD.
But in the mean time, I need a design. I could make it simple and just have a huge logo in the middle of the pad - the Star logo you see here on pshabi's hat: But we can do more than that if we want to fancy it up. So........ are any of you decent graphics designers? Whoever comes up with the design we end up going with gets a free mousepad, of course. Maybe some other goodies too, as a token of my appreciation  I'm not sure of the exact dimensions we have to work with, but I'm thinking this is probably an adequate pad: 9.25 x 7.625 x 1/8" Soft Top Rubber Backed Pad I'm open to any and all suggestions, of course. Anyone who needs the official log to work with, let me know and I'll email it to you as either a jpg or an .ai file... whatever you need. Thanks guys! |

Well, I have some other ideas too, but this one just hit me as I was looking at some ideas.....
They also have circle mousepads that can have an image printed on them, so.... Nice Scan of one color (or a variety)...Simple, yet gets the point accross and is something that would be cool to have sitting on your desk. I'll post some of the other ideas when I get them sketched up... |

Ehh.... it's ok. I think a photo of a huge pile of the chips (4 colors) would be cooler though, and then maybe the official logo really big on top of that. Just a though.

Yep, only other thought I had was to have some "cheat sheet" type stuff (odds by outs, etc) on there to the side?
But, what you describe would probably be nice if you get the right picture. |

all in due time, I will be getting some. If you are still selling them? Would like to pay you online if thats ok by you through one of the sites we both play on. Not right now but soon, hey I got to promote this site somehow don't I? my buddie and I plan on playing alot more live tornies so will need something to wear, wouldnt want to play naked. Ok, it's time to get back on this.
Got anything for my Blibbity, or should I just send them the standard logo and see what they come up with? I'm thinking even the Star above would look cool if the background (the blue) was expanded enough to fill the mousepad... |

I agree. I must have missed this thread when it originated. Dude I wold be all over this. In fact I reserve one right now, no matter what you do with it. What else do you have at this moment in terms of TP gear?

Right now, we've got (lucky) hats, poker chips, and golf shirts. Mouespads are next, and I'm looking at jerseys too. The Full Tilt jerseys the pros were look AWESOME and I'd love to get some TP ones made up....
The problem with all this stuff is designing it all. Major pain. Once we get past that part, the rest is easy. I can have golf shirts whipped up no problem for anyone who wants one (probably $25-30, including shipping)... hats too. Those are the official 1000 post gifts though, so I figure most people won't want to pay for one of those. As soon as I have a design for the mousepads, those will be cake to have made (I found a good place). And jerseys would be awesome (to wear in Aruba!), but I don't think they'll be cheap. I need to research it some more... |

I don't really have anything for these, I think just keeping it simple is probably best.

Can you take the logo, as it appears above, and expand the blue background around it to make it look more mousepad worthy.
Email me if you want more info of what I'm talking about.... I just need a graphic to send them, and the standard logo with the white background is a little boring. The blue is much better, and it would be WAY better if we could do it with the expanding stars, etc... |

Funny you should mention that. I just now (30 seconds ago) emailed them with my comments on the latest image..... In other words, they are in the making. I'm not in LOVE with the image, but it's not bad either. I think you guys will like them
