Default Weekend

Well I went to Palm Springs this weekend with a couple of friends, I had a hell of a time, on the way back we stopped at the casino . We step in and the first thing I do is go to a poker table, I signed up for a $1/$3 game since I didn't have a lot of cash on me. I go sit at the table, buy-in for max amount, $100, and started to play. Here are the hands I would like to mention, and you guys are more than welcome to comment on my play....

I get AK in the D button, someone in middle position raised to $6, I made it $20 to go, got called by the raiser. Flop A102, I bet $20, she calls, turn 5, I bet $20 again, she raised to $40, I thought about it for a little while thinking maybe she hit two pair, but I ended up calling. River comes 8, I check, she bets $20, I would have folded if it was a bigger bet, but $20, I decided to call, and she turned over A6, and we take down that pot. Later on I found out that she was a real weak player since she played a lot of A rag hands.

Ok couple hands later, I get KK, yet again I'm the D button, I raised to $13, and got 2 callers. Flop Q103, I bet $20, get one caller, turn 8, I bet $50, he calls yet again, river 5. I bet $160, he thinks about it for a long time and tells me you have AA or KK but I call. I go ok, turn over your AQ, and I'll turn over my hand, surely enough he shows AQ, and I take it with KK.

Bigg Hand this one, I was at about $400-$500 here, and I get 99, and yes again on the button. 5 people had limped before me, I decided if I raised I was getting at least 2-3 callers and if no 9 comes I'm probably not ahead, so I decide to just call, which I think was a mistake, but I also think that you can play it this way sometimes, even though most of the time you should raise, anyway it went to BB, and he checked. flop came Ad 9c 8d, I was happy because my 9 hit and I was last to act, but not that happy about the draw out there. Anyway it checks down to the person before me who bets $20, I raise to $60, guy in the middle position calls, and the original raiser, re raised to $100, surely I believe I have the best hand here, I really am not putting either of them on AA, so I go ahead and go all in, and the guy in the middle position thinks for about 2 minutes before folding, I was thinking maybe he had diamonds and didn't want to get rid of them, but the person before me calls and turns over A10, yess A10!! Turn card comes a 7, giving him and open ended straight draw, and the guy that folded in middle position slams the table, saying he folded J10, well I was happy, river came 4, and I took down about $800 pot. The whole time I kept thinking to myself thank god that guy didn't call with J10 there.

Those are the big hands, others I don't remember them too well so I decided I rather not post them, I cashed out about $920 at the end of the day, and had a $820 come up. It's pretty nice because I played for about 4 hours, and $820 profit is always great at a $1/$3 table.
