Thumbs up Poker Road Radio

My email prop bet got aired on the latest airing of PokerRoad Radio below is my original email .. Tell me what you guys think ..
------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey guys first off wanted to say great job so far with poker road .. I find that I have become a better student not just in my poker game, but in my overall college education.

It seems that Adderall + Mass Study Sessions + Poker Road on my Ipod = An Insta A on any test ... and I know you're probably thinking "Math is idiotic"...

But anyways I do have a prop bet question for you guys ... It is with my roommate .. So I have had a very fast metabolism and therefor it's is hard for me to gain weight ..

In the last 2 years I have tipped the scale at a buff 125 lbs. and I'm 20 ... Now my roommate is willing to give me 4 to 1 that I cannot gain 10 lbs. by the end of the semester
(May 2nd)..

There are three rules I'd have to follow-

1.) I cannot use any supplements or drugs

2.) I can only eat a maximum of 4 meals a day

3.) I can only drink water or a sports drink
----------------------------------------------------------------------

FIRST off do you think it is a good bet AND do any of you have advice on what to eat

I would jump on this.

If you are allowed to determine when you weigh in, literally fast for a day and do you official weigh in starving the next morning. Then eat pretty much however you want to all month (cheeseburgers and milkshakes can't hurt) and drink as much liquid as humanly possibly before the end of day weigh in on the last day.

10 pounds of water weight between the dehydrated wiegh in and the overhydrated weigh in should be NO PROBLEM. Plus, I'm sure you can gain a few pounds around the middle alone the way...

Easy money.

Fies with everything. Eat your third meal no earlier than 5 or 5 30 and then have another between 9 and 10 (metabolism slows down).

Bacon goes with everything

Deep fried is +EV

increase the amount of online poker you play to decrease you activity.

Be efficient with you time and planning so you don't have to walk much.

2% milk and corn syrup on Honey Nut Cheerios

Carbs Carbs Carbs.

I'd be a rich man if people made that bet with me.

I think this may be one of the biggest sucker bets of all time. I would be SHOCKED if you couldn't win this.

Remember what I said about optimizing the initial and final weigh ins. Shit - a gallon of liquid weighs around 8 pounds ALONE (I think)...

Yep TP - water is about 7 or 8 lbs per gallon... Down a gallon prior to weigh in and you're money.

If you can't do this by May 2, that's weak! Can you drink Milk? Drink Whole. Pasta by the box. LIFT HEAVY WEIGHTS. Seriously, do the BIG exercises only. Bench, Sqaut, Deadlift, Overhead press. EAT PROTEIN. AT MINIMUM 200 grams a day. I'd even suggest pushing for 300. I used to bodybuild so if you need any suggestions, let me know.

For 3 months, no exceptions? How much is the bet for?

That would be the more challenging part of the bet IMO

The bet is $100 .. So if I win $500 and if I lose I agreed to pay him 2-1 now.. He wouldn't do it for 3 to 2 which is fine with me bc I don't intend to lose... So with that said its on .. haha .. May 2nd I will also post how I'm doing at the end of each week

You should consider eating almonds (or other nuts), besides being very healthy they can help you gain that extra bit of weight.

Finally, I found someone worse at prop betting than me. Your roommate has to be biggest prop betting fish ever. You should be giving him 4:1, not the other way around.

Just start lifting regularly and you should gain 10 lbs ez. And if you don't, just drink a ton the day before.
