Default $400 up for grabs at TPF in September!!!

Ok guys, here are the contests I've come up with for September:

Contest #1: Start the longest thread, win $25.
Contest #2: Refer the most new and productive posters, win $25.
Contest #3: Be the best poster here, as voted on by your peers, win $50.
Contest #4: Last, but not least, we will be having a $300 freeroll at on Thursday, October 6th at 9:00 PM ET.

And now for the fine print.......

Contest #1
-This contest begins on September 1, 2005 at 12:00 AM ET and ends on September 30, 2005 at 11:59 PM ET. The winning thread must be started in that time frame.
-The thread starter's replies don't count when determining the total number of replies for the thread.
-The thread must be in one of the All Things Poker sections.
-If I feel like you abused this contest in any way (by starting tons of threads you don't really care about and hoping for the best all the while not replying elsewhere, for example), I will disqualify you at my own discretion.
-If you think you won, PM me on October 1st with what you think was the winning thread.
-I reserve the right to cancel this contest if things get out of control, as has nearly happened in the past.

Contest #2
This contest is going to be a bit tricky to track, so consider this a beta run. If it works, great, we'll do it again. If it doesn't, well, at least we tried.

To win this contest, you need to refer NEW posters to this forum AND they need to post. When they sign up, have them put your screen name in the referral box. The winner will be the person who's referrals made the most combined posts at the end of the month. If you think you might be the winner, PM me on October 1st with the names of the people you referred and I'll figure it out.

One side note here: You will only get credit for the number of posts from each of your referrals up to the number of posts that YOU made this month (beginning right now). For example, if you make 5 posts this month and refer three people who each make 100 posts, you'll only get 15 points (5 from each of them), not 300. Make sense?

Lastly, don't even think about making a fake account and referring yourself. I'll be chekcing IP addresses on the referrals, and I don't take kindly to people trying to scam me.

Contest #3
At the end of the month, I'll start a thread where you can nominate yourself or anyone else for this prize. Once the nominations are in, I'll set up a poll, and we'll take a vote. Only active posters will be allowed to vote, to prevent cheating. If the voting looks like it was on the up and up, that person will win the $50. If I suspect there was collusion going on and that the voting was rigged (I can see who voted for whom), I'll determine the winner myself, and my decision is final.

Contest #4
October 6, 2005, 9:00 PM ET. This $300 freeroll is open to all Titan Poker players who open an account though my link and make a deposit sometime this month. We need at least 15 people to kick this off, but that shouldn't be a problem, especially considering I will pay you $50 to open your account! For the details, go here:

I like the support but I really dont like this skin, the games are soft but for some reason this skin just gets on my nerves. I also dont like that 90% of there tornies are rebuys.

I think you guys are posting in the wrong thread... The Titan one is here:

As for the $10, it sounds like they offer that to most people, making the deal even sweeter.

#1 - Look up a few posts...

#2 - I think if you referred anyone that has been posting you should throw your name out there. Not sure if TP has a way to see referrals/posts by person who referred them.

#3 - We need to have nominations/voting.

Yours was certainly worthy, but it was more of a rail thread, IMO. You typically haven't counted those "here I go playing in another WSOP/WPT" threads so I looked for the next highest.

Contest updates:

1. No one has contacted me saying they think their thread was the longest. I am happy to have sjay2k's 6 max limit quiz thread be the winner. He needs to PM me for payment.

2. Not a single entry for this one, as best I can tell. Again, no one contacted me. I'll roll this money into something better for next time.

3. Please make your nominations here:

4. If you sign up ASAP, I may be able to get you into the freeroll too. We're all set for Thursday night!

It's for the people who signed up through my link. You got your reward. This is the reward for my people (Well, on top of the cash I gave them).

Sorry...

Edit: For what it's worth, I'm not even sure I'm going to be able to get MYSELF in.

For the freeroll...Do there need to be 15 players REGISTERED to the freeroll for it to p;lay out or just that you had 15 signups through your link. If the 15 need to be registered, we only have 11 in the tourney now! Any way you can send a reminder to the ones that signed up through you that are not on the tourney list (since you know their site nicks) ? Would suck if there were only 14 in it and it gets cancelled...

Also, are they really going to pay top 15 with only 15 or so players, that is funny...

Now don't you go denying us a shot at taking down a big dog TP... if I can tell the guys in my monthly home game that I took out the guy that nearly busted Freddy Deeb in Aruba then I'll really have them quaking in their boots!!
