Family Poker Classic

Although I am not playing online these days, the live poker continues form time to time.

Yesterday OceanWaves and I played in our annual family poker tournament. $5 and $10 tournament with pizza and other food and drink for $20. I got in less than 1 hour of play in the 2 tournaments combine for my worst showing ever.

Then the 25 cent 50 cent cash game started. I turned my last 10 bucks into 55, more than recovering my losses (and Oceanwaves). People who played it safe in the tournament were more than willing to go broke with top pair. It was a good time and took away some of the pain of not doing well in the tournament.
