Quick thought before I go to class
I have been playing a lot of the $5 and $10 HU matches on Stars, mostly because the competition is extremely soft and they don't take very long.
Maybe it is the Benadryl talking but, if I am wagering $5 + .25(fee) and I am only winning $10, are playing these things -EV since I am putting up $5.25 to win $4.75?

If you only won 50% of the time yeah your donking off your cash but if you can win more than 50% of the match's (This is where the skill comes in) then you have a +EV I don't have time to figure out the math cause I'm at work but I figure around 52-54% of the time would cover your vig to the break even point (But it's not really break even cause your still getting player points) 55% and up would be profit (This is a rough guess I'll do the math later

I see. Well I was 6-1 in these yesterday so it looks like it is +EV, for now. Since I only have the numbers for one day though I can't tell if I am actually any good at HU or if I suck at heads up and my opponents are just worse than I am.

Sure they do! 6+1=7 sure sounds like basic math to me.
