Playing Limit Hold'em
Hi, im new to this site and i was wondering if you guys could give me tips on my limit game. I play for money in tourny's live at a local bar and with friends but not online. I was wondering what kind of hands i should be playing compared to no-limit and where betting and raising is nessicary. I feel like i have the potential to be a very good limit player, i just need some insight to improve my game. This looks like a great site, i'm proud to be a member and hope to stay. Thank you, Talking Poker

Welcome to the forum.
As for your question, I'm afraid that's way too vague to answer with a single post. There are literally entire books written on limit hold'em. I would advise you to get one and read it. Start with one of these, and you'll be happy: (some of the best money you will ever spend) (another very good starter book) Good luck! |

BTW - you posted this in the non-Hold'Em section... and this is definitely Hold'Em related. I'll move it for you.
Let us know what you think of the books as you get through them. |
