I didn't see if a new thread was started afterward, so I'll just reply to this one. In my opinion, the game showed exactly what everyone's been saying about the situation to be correct. Kobe got his wish. He's the main focus of that offense and he'll get the ball all he wants. They won't win big, but Buss made it pretty clear that he'd rather have a more exciting offense. He and Kobe deserve each other.
Lots has been said about Shaq over the years, but his desire to win seems to be genuine. Skeptics are saying his numbers are down because he's getting old. The truth is, he's spreading the ball around to give those young stallions some confidence and because it makes Miami tougher to defend. |
