Another game where those damn yellow flags are deciding things.

Instead of fighting with guns and tanks over in Iraq they should all just carry yellow flags, you can't beat those things.

How does the -1.40 work for the detroit bet??

You are just betting on Detroit to win, no point spread, but since you are getting the precieved better team/pitcher you have to lay some weight.

In this bet you would have to lay $140 to win $100.

If the line were -1.65 you would have to lay $165 to win $100, etc.....

If you wanted to bet on KC in this game the line would be +1.30, meaning if you lay $100 you stand to win $130.

This adjustment in how much you lose if your favored team loses keeps people from just betting the Yankees every night and killing the books.

This one is gonna go down to the wire and end up with a score of covering either way, simply because Nevada's defensive line is not playing up to par by any stretch.

I also parlayed this so I won some nice money there...

Im 2-0 this year on my 2 team same game parlays. nailed this one and WV last week with the over and pts. I would post those plays but I dont really recommand betting parlays, I do it just for fun more than anything else and put less than one unit on it.

I'm not proud of thw way we had to back door the Nevada game, but it makes up for the games we lose that way I guess.

Nope, but I'm still happy (sort of) when I finish second. If you always set unrealistic goals, you always end up disappointed.
