Yup... and the top 3 win this (and the Top 10 get something). The Aruba Poker Pro tourney was winner take all. Or did you mean actually winning the Aruba seat? Even the WSOP seat I won was 1 in 60...

I've been waiting for literally 7 months for 150 people to qualify. I was in the #10-#12 group (3 of us won my tourney) way back in November.

I imagine they wanted this to happen much earlier. From what I hear UB's been having massive problems and just now is getting its shit back together. Maybe it's been so long everybody forgot about it except you

This is news to me. I have an ipod shuffle now and was actually planning on getting a Nano just for the WSOP.

We have 3 in the house now, I've got a Nano and the wife and oldest have shuffles. I'm not sure that the Nano is that much better than the shuffle, unless you're really into making playlists and playing those... I usually just set my Nano on shuffle so there's not much difference for me.

I could be worng....at any point did they ban headphones.....i read somewhere i think PH book that he couldnt use his headphones anymore and he was mad cause that was part of his signature

The biggest difference I see is the screen. I don't plan on playing much video, but just seeing the song names and being able to scroll through them is nice. There is also (potentially) a lot more storage space.

He told me that unless i can tell him for sure who said it (Some Famous Player doesnt really cover it......and where it was from he would assume im full of shit.....not saying you would but you coulda made that up......

I googled it, found a decent WSOP report, they interviewed some player on his thought on headphones, i copied the bit he said about it.

The "rule" last year was indeed that no one could have headphones on once we got into the money. Yet at my Final Table - well into the money - the guy sitting to my right was still listening to his headphones. It wasn't enforced at all, at least not in that event.

They did enforce the rule about dropping the F bomb though.

I think you have to get the full size iPod to play videos, pretty sure I can't play them on my Nano (even if I could I wouldn't pay for those or have them in there taking up space). It is nice to see the songs and scroll through them and the added storage space is good. One tip though, if you do get a Nano make sure to get a sleeve/cover for it as the screen scratches very easily.

You need the 40gb video Ipod for vids, the normal 20gb one doesnt.

If i go this year, im buying a shuffle, then im gonna go find TP on day 3, and nastily swap em over, see what crap hes got on there

When you add up the value of this package, it would end up being my second biggest win ever, but not by much.... and it would be my biggest if you factor in the fact that I don't have to split with anyone.

Well, I say that, but "stolz" and I have agreed to give the other guy the $5k cash if either of us finished in the Top 3.
